I have a 2000 F150, I am adding clear headlights. Can anyone tell me how to replace them or a website with instructions??Clear Headlight Installation?
Open the hood. Over the top of each headlamp assembly, there are two black metal tabs with a small hole in the center of them, they are about 6 inches apart. These are the retaining bars. You push these tabs rearward and pull up on them. This will slide the bar up and out. Pull it all the way out and the headlamp assembly is now free to remove. To install, install the headlamp assembly and push in on it while you slide the bar all the way back down where it originally was. That's all there is to it.
