How do I remove the clear headlight lenses from a 1999 Toyota Avalon?

They have obviously turned cloudy, or dull. The lights are ';composite assemblies'; meaning EXPENSIVE. The lenses are not removable, its all made together.

Permatex makes a restoration kit that is basically several grades of wet/dry sandpaper and polish. It will really bring those lenses back to life if you take your time, use patience and follow the directions. The kit is about ten bucks, the headlight assembly is about $150 (per side) and probably 200 from Toyota. How do I remove the clear headlight lenses from a 1999 Toyota Avalon?
