Foggy headlight lens, is there a way to clear them up?

my cars headlights have started to get hazy and foggy, is there a way to make them clear again?Foggy headlight lens, is there a way to clear them up?

You can put all the products on there that you want to - it is just a matter of time and you will need to do it again.

Your best bet is go to a salvage yard and try to find some that are in better shape.
O'Reilly Auto Parts carries a product called Plastx...it comes in a white plastic bottle...it works wonders for just what you are describing. I have used it for the same application and it works very well. Follow the directions on the bottle
go to a Harley or any motorcycle shop, they have a system they sell that takes scratch and hazing off helmet face covers, i use this on plastic camera lens for a security system, it just works well on everything plastic, buff it on until it disappears, then use the shine up polish. If the dirt is inside the lens , take the lens out, and soap it up with dawn dish detergent , shake it up and let it sit, put cotton balls inside the lens and shake it up , the longer you work on it the better the results.
yes, they make a cleaning and polishing kit that does a pretty good job. your local auto parts store should carry it. as long as the damage is all external it does a good job. several companies make kits like this. it's chemical cleaning with very little rubbing, the chemical process is followed by a polish/sealer. 3M and RainX both have it.
If the haze is on the outside of the headlight, you can buff it clear again, just don't buff too long or it will melt. If they haze is on the inside, buy a new or used headlight.
