How do you make your plastic headlight lenses on your car look clear again and not all foggy looking!!!?

Try buffing them, there's a compound made just for thatHow do you make your plastic headlight lenses on your car look clear again and not all foggy looking!!!?
Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish. It works twice as good as the ';Special'; plastic polish that is made for polishing plastic. Rub it onto the plastic housing until it turns a yucky yellowish color, let dry and buff off with a clean cloth. do it 2-3 times and you'll have just like new headlights. How do you make your plastic headlight lenses on your car look clear again and not all foggy looking!!!?
Clean the inside first then ask to a car shop for a chemical that can clean the outside of the lenses dont just use any rubbing compound because it may make it worst.
buffing and those kits are all temp fixes. the yellow always comes back. best thing is to do is go to a local junk yard or buy new aftermarket.
My bet is if you can't scratch it off and the lens feels smooth then is it water vapor build up INSIDE the lens. soo either deal with it or replace the lens.
Rubbing compound, one of the fine grit ones, and elbow grease!! use a silicone lube twice or three times a year to prevent the problem from coming right back
they sell little kits at automotive stores to fix that problem. never used it before so i can't say how good it works.
i agree with jenny, because ive used everything the guyz above is tellin you to use( on my 94 eclipse ) and at the end it always comes back, so save the headache and buy some new ones. ps some of those lens cleaner packs are as high as $15 an up so save the money an the headache.
There is no way to fix this other than replacing them! Don't waste your time with the cleaners they do not work!
I bought some plastic polish at wal mart, it worked perfectly
